The Sabre 38mkII was design by Roger Hewson and built by Sabre Yachts in South Casco, Maine.  "Voila" is a blue water capable performance oriented cruiser.  The cockpit can comfortably seat six adults and accommodations below deck will sleep seven with three doubles and one single berth.

Sails are 2008 and include a 8.1 oz fully battened main with 3 reef points, 8.1 oz 135% roller furling genoa, and an 1.5 oz asymmetrical spinnaker.   Sail trim controls include:  main sheet, main traveler, rigid boom vang, downhaul, outhaul, hydraulic back stay adjuster, tow-able genoa lead blocks.  All lines are lead aft to the cockpit.  A Forespar line control whisker pole is mounted on the mast and can be used to pole out either the genoa or asymmetrical spinnaker on a down wind run.

Auxiliary propulsion is provided by a Westerbeke 38B four coupled with a 3-blade 16 inch Maxprop propeller.  The 45 gallon fuel capacity will provide for a 240 nautical mile range with 10% reserve.
